Major Responsibilities :
Development and continual improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), standards and workflows
Responsibility of meeting KPIs (On-time Delivery, Effort Variance, Rework, Attrition) as per the business objective
Proposal preparation for projects including scope understanding, estimation, schedule preparation, assumptions, manloader preparation
Responsible for meeting the project budget and schedule through effective supervision of leads
Review and Responsibility for meeting the quality of deilverables coming out of the department through establishment of proper quality check processes
Establish and maintain suitable department organization
Identification of additional required resources inside the department, creating job advertisements and conduct personal interviews, preselection and selection of candidates
Preselection of candidates, conduct interviews and select candidates with support from HR
Develop and implement training plan for the team to develop/improve technical and behavorial skills as per business requirement
Managing performance of the team members (espacially the direct reports) by setting objectives, tracking and reviewing performance and providing constructive feedback
Mentoring of piping engineers and designers during tendering, design and construction phase based on the best practices defined in the engineering checklists
Perform cold eye reviews related to progress, quality, resources and schedule
DES related activities:
Actively support DES execution concept
Define and coordinate workpackages and works with DES India
Requirements:
Technical Engineer, BSc, Technician or BEng (Hons), Degree in a related engineering field
Experience on pharma or microelectronics projects, with clean rooms
