For our client, a globally active firm headquartered in CH - Zug, we are looking to staff a Data Analytics Engineer to start on 01 Mar, 2018 Job Description • Acquire data from primary and secondary sources and maintain data warehouse • Provide statistical knowhow for the establishment, maintaining and continuously improving the processes in close collaboration with engineering specialists • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends of patterns in complex big data sets to improve yield, quality, and customer satisfaction. • Provide data analysis and be a key participant in the manufacturing problem solving process to ensure a fact based and data driven decision making Must Haves • BS in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science of Information Management • 3+ years of relevant experience • Track record in extracting conclusions out of big data sets and transforming those into fact based decisions • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy in big data sets • Technical skills with data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques and experience using statistical packages • Fluent in German and English Nice to Haves • Experience in regulated environments Contract Type: Contract – w/m Start Date: 01 Mar, 2018 or by agreement Duration: 12 Months with extension Workload: 100% Workplace: CH - Zug
